Just like our fingerprints, each individual opal is completely unique. Given the play of colour and pattern found in opals, two stones may be close, but never an exact mirror match of the other. This pair of boulder opals are two different sides of a seam that were split apart. They near mirror each other in their shape and colour.
Given opals' unique ability to diffract light, their colours and patterns are a joy to behold. As your opal moves and light is hitting the stone at different angles, the pattern and play of colour will come to life. It will shift and move with every tilt. The colour visible can also change hues or a become a completely different colour all together.
The photography of Opalily pieces have been captured under both natural and artificial lighting using professional cameras and an iPhone. Our aim is always to best represent our masterpieces and provide an authentic representation of the gemstones.
Colours may vary slightly in appearance, influenced by viewing angles and the specific device screen. For additional visuals or inquiries, please contact us through email or Instagram.
